Liberty City Stories @ YourPSP.com

YourPSP.com have created a Liberty City Stories section containing various bits of information and three (low-quality) digital screenshots. An astounding technical achievement, Liberty City Stories pushes the PSP to it’s absolute limit, resetting the public’s understanding and expectations of what is possible on a hand held gaming system. See Liberty City like never before. Experience a whole new adventure in three classic

Miguel set to return

Basti, a member of our forum, is reporting that the german Official PSP Magazine contains two brand new Liberty City Stories screenshots. One of the screenshots shows Miguel, a character featured in Grand Theft Auto 3. In GTA3, Miguel was a highly ranked member of the Columbian Cartel. He was killed towards the end of the game after being tortured at

Digital Screenshots Emerge

The first GTA: Liberty City Stories digital screenshots have been released online. The images come from Gamer.nl and although none of the screenshots are new to us, they are certainly more pleasant to look at than grainy magazine scans. Enjoy: Thanks to flying_fox for the heads up. Update: The screenshots have been removed from Gamer.nl at Rockstar’s request. Yet another silly mistake…

Boxart Revealed

US retailer Walmart have revealed what appears to be the official packshot for Liberty City Stories. Also note the game’s “Mature 17+” rating (on the Walmart site, that is). The update was discovered by TheDude5000.

Vice City Multiplayer – First Release

The Vice City Multiplayer project started by the San Andreas Multiplayer team as a prerequisite to their SA-MP development has proven to be far more productive than their first estimates were. VC-MP has been described as far from final, but the team believe that this release is an enjoyable release to play and should provide some commonly demanded features for the community

No more Hot Coffee.

I refuse to make some snarky, sarcastic entry about the Hot Coffee fiasco. I’ve had it. I don’t care anymore. It went out of control, becoming an orgy of press and populace. Nutter protestors and politicians (and Jack Thompson, who deserves a category all his own) are on a rampage, going after everyone and anyone who looks at em’ funny.

Inside the Mind of a Luddite

For the most part, it seems the Hot Coffee controversy has been put on the back burner pending the outcome of the FTC investigation. So what have the critics done to channel their self-righteous rage and stay in the spotlight? Well, in Thompson’s case, as you’ve surely heard already, he’s simply widened his fear-mongering campaign against The Sims, Bully, and Killer 7, among others. He

Panties in a Bunch

Kick back, relax. Have yourself a sandwich. Just because Chappelle’s Show has officially bitten the dust, it doesn’t mean that the world is without it’s humour. Take the following email, for instance – sent on behalf of the “entire gaming industry” to Patrick (the modder behind Hot Coffee), it seems to have come from someone who wasn’t breast fed enough

GM’s roundup & Official PSP Guide

The september issue of Games Master (UK) has a nice 2-page roundup of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. “Best of all, the game is due out this September, just after the PSP launch.” “Firstly they’ve [Rockstar] realised that the missions can’t be 10-minutes-or-more stamina tests. They must intense, punchy and to the point – you can’t be faffing around
