GTA Online Weekly Bonuses Preview – available 20th July 2023

This week, two new electric vehicles arrive in Los Santos, the Summer Racing Event officially opens with 3x bonuses across an assortment of race modes, and the Junk Energy Time Trials are here. Also starting 20th July, new Community Jobs!

Remember this is just a preview, and information may change. On top of that, Rockstar may reserve things for their own Newswire.

We understand that not every Event Week will be to everyone’s liking, some will certainly be more exciting than others, but anyway…

Let’s get started!

The Summer Racing Event, Junk Energy Time Trials and Big Racing Bonuses

Ah, Summer. Well, in the Northern Hemisphere at least. Temperatures soar high in all continents, beaches and swimming pools are filled to the brim, and some of us are just wishing for it to go away. But what else is a Summery activity? Well, racing is! Racers across San Andreas don’t care about not having air conditioning in their vehicles, because they’re there for that high-octane, need for speed. All the heat will quickly be gone and transferred onto their vehicle instead.

This week in GTA Online, as part of the Summer Racing Event, racers across the state (and perhaps the country?) can find an assortment of high bonuses on racing modes, alongside some boosts for LS Car Meet reputation if you wish to seek shelter from the heat inside. The event itself has some rewards for those who dare to race in the heat, lasting until the beginning of August!

Until 26th July:

  • 3x GTA$ and RP on Hotring Circuit Races
  • 3x GTA$ and RP on Special Vehicle Stunt Races
  • 3x GTA$ and RP on Open Wheel Races
  • 3x GTA$, LSCM XP and RP on Street Races
  • 3x GTA$, LSCM XP and RP on Pursuit Races
  • 3x GTA$ and RP on the Community Series

Until 2nd August:

  • Win one Rockstar Created Open Wheel, Hotring Circuit and Street Race each to receive the Dark Manor Racing Suit.

Alongside the introduction of the Summer Racing Event, find the brand-new daily Junk Energy Time Trials – get on your electric bike (see below), let it do the hard work, and beat the par time!

The Environmentally Friendly hits Los Santos with the Penaud La Coureuse and the Inductor Bicycle

There’s been record heat in areas of the world, and there’s a stronger than ever message to go with environmentally friendly vehicles, and more. As such, this week’s latest deliveries to Los Santos are both electric, environmentally friendly vehicles.

Coming straight from France, find the brand-new, yet vintage-inspired Penaud La Coureuse available to buy from Legendary Motorsport. Also featuring Imani Tech and Hao’s Special Works upgrades!

Alongside it, it’s time to stop making an effort to pedal and let the electric bits and bobs do the work for you. Hands on the handles though, that won’t control itself!

Introducing the brand-new Inductor electric bike, available from Pedal and Metal Cycles.

Discounts

To celebrate the Racing Event, find an assortment of discounts on sports and open wheel vehicles, alongside Auto Shops if you somehow don’t have one yet. It’s time to get into a long-lasting friendship with KDJ and Sess.

The Avenger will still be on discount, should you need one!

    Miscellaneous

The Diamond Casino & Resort Lucky Wheel

This week at the Diamond Casino & Resort’s UnLucky Wheel, there is quite the change from last week’s vehicle. A very suggestively coloured and Deludamol-branded vehicle hit the podium last week, making the likes of Felipe and the Casino crew raise their eyebrows. This week however, something a bit simpler is available for those who’d like to try their luck – or lack thereof. This week, find the “adorable” (please talk to Southern San Andreas Super Autos’ PR department should you oppose this description) Vulcar Warrener HKR. Just be sure to not get a P&Q and you’re set, now *that* is what will make you say “ew” and “wtf”, not the car.

      LS Car Meet Prize Ride

As the heat hits the United States hardcore, some around Los Santos will be wanting to find some shelter. Granted, most tuners will be partaking in the Summer Racing Event regardless of how hot it is outside, but considering the LS Car Meet does surprisingly have air conditioning, some may want to keep themselves inside, or at least go in to check this week’s latest test vehicles and rewards.

If you’re into the latter, this week’s LS Car Meet Prize Ride is the slick Albany V-STR sedan. Get Top 2 in LS Car Meet Races for four days in a row, and it’s yours.

For testing this week, or even buying if you don’t find it on any of the websites, find in the Test Track:

      • Obey Tailgater S
      • Bravado Verlierer (Hao and Mimi may have to hear from German folks about this one)
      • Pfister 811 (also 40% off)

Hao’s still on his laptop this week, doesn’t seem like he’ll be doing much of the Summer Racing Event, but he does have a brand-new shipment for those on Xbox Series and PS5 who like some extra speed. This week at the LS Car Meet’s Premium Test Ride area, find the Pfister Astron Custom HSW.

      Premium Deluxe Motorsport

      • Maibatsu Penumbra FF
      • Ocelot R88 (also 30% off)
      • Declasse DR1 (also 30% off)
      • Ocelot Pariah (also 30% off)

      Luxury Autos

In Los Santos’ more premium establishment across the road from Record A, you can find:

      • Pegassi Torero XO (also 30% off)
      • Ocelot Lynx (also 40% off)
