Welcome to Snap Saturday, GTANet’s ode to the virtual photography community who continue to capture some amazingly creative shots across GTA and Red Dead.
When you mention the word Daguerreotype, you’re either going to think of *that* classroom exchange in Life is Strange, or the photo filter from RDR2/RDO (maybe both if you’re like myself and Spider-Vice!). In the photography realm, it’s a very early development process that resulted in black, white and silver, almost mirror-like, portraits. It’s for all these reasons that we picked it as inspiration for this week’s theme, with a collection of black and white snaps that really embody the photography styles of old, whether it’s embracing a colourless filter, or capturing the noir tones and shadows created by a single light source.
