Snap “Saturday”: In the Storm

Welcome to Snap Saturday, GTANet’s ode to the virtual photography community who continue to capture some amazingly creative shots across GTA and Red Dead.

It’s finally June. The month of Pride, longer days, and the nemesis (or the opposite) for many – the stinging heat and hell in the Northern hemisphere, and the rain and cold in the Southern hemisphere… well, mostly.
Regardless of where you’re located, you’ll probably be wanting some rain and thunderstorms to cool you down, or perhaps you’re already sick and tired of those.

In San Andreas, things are warm yet repetitive, although hints of tropical storms and perhaps even a tornado or two (N.B.: please proper severe weather in GTA VI) are becoming reality more and more. Everyone across the state either runs for their lives at the drop of one raindrop, or they take out their phones and cameras and submit things to Snapmatic.
Many years in the past however, climate change may have not been as evident or dangerous, but boy can things get crazy in Lemoyne and even New Austin, from sweeping thunderstorms to the lightest of rains that make for some moody shots.

This week, we look at the magic of the atmosphere across the Heartlands and New Austin, and the current-day state of San Andreas, all from your modern and old-timey lenses – classic, and recent snaps.

Enjoy! ⛈️
