October 9th is upon us and Rockstar has opened the floodgates for Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC preorders on the Rockstar Games Launcher! Don’t forget that preordering on this platform will get you many bonuses, discounted special editions, and two free classic Rockstar PC games.

Dubbed the “ultimate way to play Red Dead Redemption 2”, Rockstar, along with the screenshots, teases new graphical and technical enhancements for improved immersion, such as increased draw distances, higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion, higher resolution shadows at all distances, tessellated tree textures (relief and texturing in tree trunks looks more realistic with realistic chunks), improved grass, fur textures, and more! It will also support HDR like its console counterpart, the ability to run multidisplay and ultra-wide screen setups, faster framerates and more.
