This just in, everybody’s favorite anti-game crusader, Jack Thompson has been thrown off the case by the judge in the Strickland vs. Sony civil suit in Alabama. For those not following the news, Thompson voluntarily removed himself from the prosecution team following a motion to remove him on behalf of Take2’s lawyers. This appeared to most observers as damage control on Thompson’s part in the event that the motion was decided in the defense’s favor. Judge Moore, however rejected Thompson’s resignation, and issued an 18 page decision blasting Thompson’s conduct, in what amounts to “you can’t quit, you’re fired.”
