This will surely come as no surprise, but San Andreas has been nominated for best game of the year in the 5th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards, just as the last two games in the series were. Competition for best game might be kind of tough this year as it’s up against Half-Life2 and the quirky Katamari Damacy (among others). On top of that, SanAn is also in the nominated for the Audio, Game Design, and Writing categories. Winners will be announced at the International Game Developers Association conference in San Fierro, erm, San Francisco on March 9th. Check back here, or the IGDA site then to see who won.
